Today was a lazy day around the house. I cleaned...again. Kelly and Jackson leave a trail of disaster behind them wherever they go. Abigail and Jackson decided today that naps are for the weak, so that didn't happen. And then Abby took a crap on my carpet. So all in all it was a banner day.

I didn't feel like setting up an entire backdrop today so I just shot my pictures in the kitchen and foyer.

Today I decided that I was bored taking the same old pictures inside my house. I did a little research, and ended up making a ghetto fabulous backdrop. One day I will buy an actual backdrop setup and all the stuff that goes with it, but for how the results came out I'm  happy with my ghetto one for now. I only took pictures of Abigail because let's face it, Jackson's not sitting still long enough to get any pictures of him. Enjoy the pictures of Abby!!!

Today was a fun day! The weather was beautiful - 70 degrees and sunny (but very windy). We went to my friend Rebecca's house (who is part of my Mom's Club) for a craft and story time play date. Of course Jackson had no interest in doing anything crafty, so I colored in his Mardi Gras mask and put St. Patrick's Day stickers on the leprechaun bear. Then Rebecca read the kids a couple of stories and afterwards everyone headed outside to play. Crabbergail has been very cranky lately (we think she's getting a tooth), so I didn't have the opportunity to take as many pictures as I wanted to. I had to hold her most of the time we were there.

The only thing Jackson is ever interested in.........FOOD!!!

Today I was Super Mom.

I cleaned the entire house while dealing with Miss I'mGonnaCryForNoGoodReasonAndNotNapAllDay Abigail and Mr. ILikeToWakeUpAnHourEarly Jackson. I didn't think I was going to be able to get a shower because for some reason Abigail hated everything today and wouldn't nap, but I snuck one in. Afterwards I picked up Audra and we hit up Starbucks and then went to the park. Kelly met us there for a little while before he had to go to work. The park definitely tired out Jackson. Abby, however, didn't go to sleep until 10:00 (she's usually in bed by 9). 

I shoot in manual mode, but it sucks sometimes when I want a picture of myself and no one knows how to use my camera. I flipped it on automatic, showed Audra how to use the back button focus, and she took a few shots.

Jackson had no interested in getting his photo taken. What almost two year old would when you have a huge swing set and playground to explore???

Today Stephanee, Nikolas, Jackson, Abby, and I went to Applebees for lunch and then Target. I had no problems driving since Applebees and Target are right next door to my house, so woohoo! It was onlye the 3rd time I've been out of the house alone with the two kids because I didn't go out in the beginning because Abby was so tiny and then I broke my ankle so I couldn't drive. In full disclosure, I had a couple of glasses of wine before editing these pics (and posting this), so I apologize if they look like crap. At least the kids are cute :)
