January 31, 2012

Today was beautiful out - in the 60's and sunny. It would be a waste to not go outside with Jackson and Abby. Plus, Jackson was hinting that he wanted out:

Not only did Fisher Price throw up in my living room, but Jackson decided it was tantrum time:

My ghetto child - not only is his hat sideways, but he's giving the finger:

Surprise here - he's screaming again:

When Kelly got home we took the kids to the park. I took most of the following pictures with my zoom lens while sitting on a bench with Abby (it was the first time I got to use it!):

I think Kelly was having more fun than Jackson:

Abby was a big ball of excitement:

Kelly and Jackson playing with the telescope:

Look who decided to join the party!!!:

January 30, 2012

Today was a very sad day. We found out that Kelly's mom's husband, Paul, died. He had Stage IV Colon Cancer. While it was expected, it is still very hard on everyone. We are happy he isn't suffering anymore, but we are also sad that Jackson and Abigail will never really get to know Pop. He was a great guy and will truly be missed.

Today's theme was bath time. Jackson was having a great time taking a bath, but unfortunately Abby decided that she wanted to scream while Jackson was in the bath. So that meant that I had to take care of her while Kelly bathed Jackson, which means that I didn't get many pics of him.

I love his blue eyes:

Check out these chubby cheeks:

I don't know why, but she's pretty pissed here:

But don't worry...she got over it quickly:

January 29, 2012

Today the 4 of us spent the day running errands. Weight Watchers at 9:15, then to Wegman's to pick up some food for breakfast. After that the kids napped and Kelly and I prepared our grocery list for the week. Then we went to Barnes and Noble where they were having a great sale on kid's holiday books - I got 4 Halloween and Christmas books for $2 a piece. I also got the book Shake, Rattle and Shoot, which is all about photographing children. I am hoping it gives me some inspiration because sitting in the house is causing me to run low on it. There's only so many times I can photograph Abby laying down on her back. Finally, we went back to Wegman's to go grocery shopping for the week.

Kelly made Turkey Tetrazzini for dinner (it's a Weight Watcher's recipe):

Jackson was playing Peek-a-boo with me:

Jackson was so cute today. He spent the majority of the day walking around the house in a fireman hat. Every time he came over to Abby she would smile at him.
